Started in 2023, business owners Jerald Ignash and Tony Gottschalk purchased a new cement truck that can provide cement services to a wide variety of projects that previously were not offered in the immediate area as G&I Pumping and Conveying LLC.
The truck will be based out of Caseville but will serve the entire county. As of right now, Gottschalk says they plan on serving everywhere within 100 miles or so, as the closest truck of its kind available to rent is in Saginaw or down near the Detroit area.
The truck itself is equipped with an articulating arm which allows it to reach over and in places a normal cement truck would have a harder time backing into.
“The truck reaches around 124 feet,” said Gottschalk. “It can pour cement on a deck of a second story, or inside a basement with the walls already up. We are able to handle a lot of residential and agricultural jobs that a normal truck would have difficulty reaching.”
Between the two of them, Ignash being in the trucking industry has the equipment and resources needed to upkeep a truck like this and Gottschalk has been working in the cement industry for years. They also hired a driver to run the truck.
